  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Feel free to experiment with different cheeses.

  • 1 none onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Preparation

  • Grease the slow cooker with butter.
  • Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom.
  • In a bowl, mix together the cream, milk, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour half of this mixture over the potatoes.
  • Sprinkle half of the cheese on top.
  • Repeat with the remaining potatoes, cream mixture, and cheese.

Cooking

  • Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, or until the potatoes are tender.

Serving

  • Once done, sprinkle with paprika if desired and serve warm.
