Cooking the orzo

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.

  • Stir in the orzo and toast for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour in the broth and slowly bring it to a boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat to a gentle simmer and cook for 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is al dente.

Finishing up

  • Remove from heat and gently stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese.
  • Mix until everything is creamy and well combined.
  • Season generously with salt and pepper.
  • Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
