Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 package gnocchi

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Add gradually to prevent curdling.
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley, chopped Adds color and freshness.

Instructions

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the diced chicken, sautéing for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through, seasoning with salt and pepper. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Using the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, stirring constantly.

Sauce Creation

  • Pour in the heavy cream, bringing it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese until combined and smooth, about 2 minutes.
  • Ensure the sauce thickens slightly to a consistency that can coat the back of a spoon.

Combine Ingredients

  • Return the cooked chicken and the gnocchi to the skillet, gently tossing to coat in the creamy sauce.
  • Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

Serving

  • Garnish the dish with fresh parsley before serving.
  • Serve hot straight from the skillet for the best experience.

Notes

Prep ahead by dicing chicken and mincing garlic in advance. Use fresh gnocchi for quicker cooking time. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
