Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sear them in the skillet until golden brown on both sides (about 4-5 minutes per side).
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Cooking

  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, mixing until smooth.
  • Return the chicken thighs to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.

Serving

  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure to brown the chicken well for extra flavor. Don't skip the parsley garnish; it adds a nice color and freshness to the dish. If you prefer a thicker sauce, let it simmer for a few minutes before adding the chicken back in. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or steamed vegetables.
