Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Grease a baking dish with butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, milk, minced garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper. Whisk until blended.
  • Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the greased baking dish.
  • Sprinkle half of the cheddar, mozzarella, and parmesan cheese over the potatoes.
  • Pour half of the creamy mixture over the layered potatoes and cheese.
  • Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, cheeses, and cream mixture.

Baking

  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
  • Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Slice potatoes uniformly for best results. Feel free to customize the cheese and add fresh herbs.
