Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the pork chops with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  • Add pork chops to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove pork chops from skillet and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sliced mushrooms, sauté until mushrooms are tender.
  • Add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir everything together, allowing it to simmer for a few minutes.

Finishing Touches

  • Return the pork chops to the skillet, cover with the creamy spinach and mushroom sauce, and heat through.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the pork chops in your favorite seasonings for a few hours before cooking. You can use frozen spinach if fresh isn’t available. Just make sure to thaw and drain it well before adding it to the dish. Consider adding grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce for a cheesy twist! To store leftovers, place the pork chops and sauce in an airtight container and refrigerate for 3 to 4 days.
