These Crispy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are bite-sized pieces of tender salmon, coated in a crunchy golden crust and tossed in a creamy, sweet-spicy bang bang sauce. They’re crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and loaded with irresistible flavor. Perfect as an appetizer, snack, or even a main dish!
Pat the salmon dry and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Place cornstarch in one bowl, whisk the egg in another, and add panko breadcrumbs to a third. Dip each salmon bite into the cornstarch, then egg, then panko, pressing gently to coat well.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the salmon bites in batches for about 2-3 minutes per side, until golden and crispy. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice until smooth.
Gently toss the crispy salmon bites in the bang bang sauce or serve it on the side as a dip. Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds, and enjoy!
Notes
For extra crispiness, double-coat the salmon bites by dipping them in egg and panko a second time. Adjust the spice level by adding more sriracha or red pepper flakes.
