  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary (optional) Fresh herbs can be substituted for different flavors.

Preparation

  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, around 375°F.
  • Wash and cut the potatoes into wedges or slices, ensuring uniform size for even cooking.
  • In a bowl, toss the potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and rosemary (if using).

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned potatoes on a large piece of foil and wrap them tightly.
  • Place the foil packet on the grill and cook for about 20-25 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Check for tenderness and crispiness; they are ready when edges begin to bubble and are golden brown.

Serving

  • Carefully remove from the grill, unwrap the packet, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with grilled meats, fresh salads, or zesty dipping sauces like garlic aioli. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator or freeze for up to a month. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for best texture.
