  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless, skinless preferred
  • 1 packet Italian dressing mix
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup Condensed
  • 8 oz cream cheese Softened for easier mixing
  • 1 cup chicken broth Low sodium recommended
  • 8 oz angel hair pasta
  • Salt and pepper To taste
  • Chopped parsley For garnish

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the crock pot.
  • In a bowl, mix the Italian dressing mix, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese, and chicken broth until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crock pot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions.
  • Once the chicken is cooked through, shred it in the sauce.
  • Serve the chicken and sauce over the cooked pasta.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken breasts in the Italian dressing mix overnight before cooking. If you prefer a thicker sauce, you can add a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed with water during the last 30 minutes of cooking. Feel free to add vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms to the crock pot for more nutrition.
