Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless, skinless recommended
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 package Italian dressing mix
  • 1 cup chicken broth Can use low-sodium
  • 8 ounces angel hair pasta
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese For serving
  • to taste Salt and pepper Adjust based on preference
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the Crock Pot, ensuring they are evenly spaced for optimal cooking.
  • In a bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, and chicken broth. Stir well until blended, then pour over the chicken in the Crock Pot.

Cooking

  • Cover the Crock Pot and set to cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. The chicken should be cooked through, tender, and easily shred with a fork.
  • About 30 minutes before serving, bring a pot of water to a boil. Cook the angel hair pasta according to package directions, usually about 4-6 minutes, until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Serving

  • Once the chicken is ready, shred it using two forks and spoon the creamy sauce over the cooked pasta on individual plates.
  • Sprinkle generously with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve immediately while hot, allowing the creamy sauce to envelop the pasta and chicken.

Notes

For best experience, serve hot. This dish pairs excellently with a fresh garden salad or steamed vegetables. Consider adding a sprinkle of extra herbs for added flavor.
