  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix (1 oz)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot.
  • In a bowl, mix together the cream of chicken soup, ranch dressing mix, and chicken broth until well combined.
  • Pour the soup mixture over the chicken.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • Shred the chicken in the gravy before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve over rice or mashed potatoes.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding sliced onions or garlic to the crockpot. For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the soup mixture. You may substitute chicken thighs for breasts for a richer flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
