Preparation

  • Start by carefully laying the chicken breasts in your crockpot.

Cooking

  • Cover the crockpot and set it on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • When it's time, shred the chicken in the pot using two forks.
  • Serve the teriyaki chicken over a bed of rice or noodles.
  • Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds or chopped scallions on top.

Notes

You can prep everything the night before. This recipe can be frozen for up to 3 months. For a thicker sauce, let it reduce after shredding the chicken.
