Preparation

  • Slice the cucumbers thinly and place them in a bowl.
  • Sprinkle salt over the cucumbers and let them sit for about 10 minutes.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, and pepper.
  • Pour the dressing over the cucumbers and toss to combine.
  • Add chopped fresh dill or parsley for garnish.
  • Serve chilled, allowing the salad to rest in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.

Notes

Best served chilled. Consider garnishing with lime or lemon slices for additional flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2-3 days.
