Ingredients
  

For the marinade

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

For the pork chops

  • 6 pieces loin pork chops, well trimmed
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, salt, ginger, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  • Place the pork chops in the marinade and let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Dredge the marinated pork chops in flour, coating them evenly.
  • In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the seared pork chops to a baking dish and bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.

Serving

  • Serve hot, alongside your favorite sides such as mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or salad. Drizzle with extra honey garlic sauce before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the pork chops overnight. Adjust honey and soy sauce to taste. Ensure skillet is hot before searing for best results. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 2 months.
