Burger Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup diced fresh jalapeños Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 4 oz cream cheese Let soften for easier melting.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Experiment with different types of cheese for variation.
  • 4 count hamburger buns Toast the buns for added flavor.
  • ½ cup ranch dressing Extra ranch on the side is recommended.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: lettuce For added freshness.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix ground beef, diced jalapeños, salt, and pepper.
  • Divide the mixture into four equal parts and form patties.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side until browned.
  • Flip the patties. Add cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cover and let cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  • Toast the hamburger buns in the same skillet for a minute or until golden.

Assembly

  • Place a cheesy patty on each bun, add optional lettuce if desired. Drizzle with ranch dressing and top with another patty.

Notes

Store any leftover burgers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Warm in a skillet to reheat. For extra flavor, grill the patties instead of cooking them on a skillet.
