Preparation

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or manually in a plastic bag with a rolling pin.
  • Mix the crushed cookies with softened cream cheese until well combined, forming a thick and sticky mixture.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, approximately 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes to help them hold their shape when dipped in chocolate.

Coating

  • Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Add food coloring if desired.
  • Dip each cookie ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are completely covered, then place them back on the baking sheet.
  • Decorate with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
  • Let them set completely at room temperature or in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes.

Notes

Store cookie balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. To freeze, place in a single layer on a baking sheet for about an hour, then transfer to a freezer-safe bag or container for up to a month.
