  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled Optional for added flavor.

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine the thawed peas, chopped red onion, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  • In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise with salt and pepper.
  • Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the pea mixture and stir until well combined.
  • If desired, add the crumbled bacon.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes
