Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Dusting

  • Powdered sugar for dusting before serving

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until just combined.
  • In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Baking

  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the tops are crinkly.
  • Let cool for a few minutes, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze in a freezer-safe container or bag.
