  • 1 cup heavy cream Can use lighter cream or half-and-half for a healthier option.
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese Substitute with lower-fat option if desired.
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish Fresh parsley adds color and flavor.
  • Cooked pasta or rice (optional) Serve over pasta or rice for a hearty meal.

  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  • Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  • Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and season with salt and pepper.
  • Serve over cooked pasta or rice and garnish with chopped parsley.

Notes

Best served hot. Pair with a side salad or steamed vegetables. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently on the stove or microwave.
