Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar Granulated sugar
  • 1 cup butter, softened Make sure it's very soft
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour Can use gluten-free flour for a gluten-free version
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Frosting

  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

For Topping

  • Assorted fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, bananas) Customize based on season or preference

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the sugar and butter.
  • Add flour, baking powder, and salt, mixing until combined.
  • Spread the dough onto a pizza pan or baking sheet.
  • Bake for about 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.

Frosting

  • While the crust cools, beat together the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Once the crust is completely cooled, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the top.

Topping

  • Decorate with assorted fresh fruit in a creative pattern.
  • Slice and serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

To keep leftovers fresh, store in the refrigerator covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container. Best enjoyed within a couple of days.
