Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tbsp White Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter (melted)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk until well combined.
  • Add the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix until just combined; a few lumps are okay.

Cooking

  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat (approximately 375°F).
  • Scoop about 1/3 cup of batter into the center of the pan. Cook until bubbles form and the edges look golden, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Flip the pancake and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  • Repeat with the remaining batter, keeping the pancakes warm covered with a towel.

Serving

  • Serve the warm pancakes with butter, syrup, and fresh fruit.

Notes

For fluffier pancakes, use room temperature milk and eggs. Customize sweetness by adjusting sugar.
