  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Season with salt and pepper
  • 8 oz egg noodles Use according to package instructions
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided usage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Add for flavor
  • 1 cup chicken broth For cooking the noodles

Preparation

  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook until fragrant.

Cooking

  • Pour in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  • Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter until melted.
  • Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, mixing everything together.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding some grated Parmesan cheese on top. You can also add vegetables like peas or spinach for added nutrition. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
