Main Ingredients

  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles Use your favorite brand.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Can use gluten-free soy sauce if needed.
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil Adds rich flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter or tahini Peanut butter recommended for creaminess.
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup Optional for added sweetness.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 cup vegetable broth or water

Garnishes

  • to taste chopped green onions Optional garnish.
  • to taste sesame seeds Optional garnish.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Cooking

  • In a large pan, heat the sesame oil over medium heat.
  • Add the vegetable broth or water, soy sauce, peanut butter or tahini, maple syrup, garlic powder, and ginger powder to the pan. Stir well to combine.
  • Bring the sauce to a simmer and let it cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan and toss them in the sauce until well coated.
  • Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired.

Notes

For more flavor, consider adding chili paste or sriracha to enhance the sauce. Feel free to add fresh vegetables during the cooking process for extra nutrition. If you prefer a creamier sauce, increase the amount of peanut butter or tahini.
