  • 1 15.25 oz box strawberry cake mix
  • 1 8 oz tub whipped topping, thawed Ensure it is completely thawed for better mixing.
  • 1 large egg Slightly beaten.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For coating the cookie balls.

Preparation

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease baking sheets and set aside.
  • In a large mixing bowl, slightly beat the egg, then add the cake mix and whipped topping.
  • Mix ingredients well.
  • Roll small portions, about 1 inch balls, into powdered sugar until well coated.
  • Place cookies on greased baking sheets, about 1 inch apart.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are firm but not brown.
  • Let cool and enjoy.

Notes

These cookies are best served fresh, straight out of the oven. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about 3 to 5 days. Freeze in a zip-lock bag for up to three months.
