  • 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper Feel free to omit for a milder dish.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh garlic is a great substitute.
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Cooking Oil e.g., vegetable or canola.

For the Ramen

  • 2 packs Ramen Noodles
  • 4 cloves Garlic Freshly minced.
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth Vegetable broth can be used for a vegetarian version.
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream for lighter options.

  • 1/4 cup Green Onions Chopped.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by cutting the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
  • In a bowl, mix the paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Sprinkle this spice blend over the chicken pieces and stir until they are well coated.

Cooking

  • Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook until it is browned and cooked through, about 7-10 minutes.
  • Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a simmer.
  • Add the ramen noodles to the simmering broth and cook according to package instructions, usually around 3-4 minutes.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, return the chicken to the skillet.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and soy sauce, combining everything well.
  • Let it simmer for another couple of minutes until heated through.
  • Serve hot, garnishing with chopped green onions on top.

Notes

Adjust the level of spices based on your tolerance and preference. Make sure not to overcook the chicken to keep it tender. For a vegetarian option, substitute the chicken with tofu and use vegetable broth. Always taste and adjust the seasoning before serving. Feel free to add fresh vegetables like spinach, bell peppers, or mushrooms, and mix in some peanuts or cashews for added crunch.
