Slider Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Slider buns
  • 1 lb Roast beef Pre-sliced for convenience
  • 2 cups Caramelized onions See cooking instructions
  • 6 slices Swiss cheese Can substitute with provolone or gouda
  • 1 cup Au jus for dipping Store-bought or homemade

Seasoning and Topping

  • 4 tablespoons Butter Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, caramelize the onions until golden brown.
  • Cut the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves on a baking sheet.
  • Layer roast beef, caramelized onions, and Swiss cheese on the buns.
  • Place the top halves of the buns on the sandwiches.
  • Melt butter, mix with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and brush the mixture on top of the slider buns.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden.
  • Serve warm with au jus for dipping.

Notes

For a vegetarian version, substitute mushrooms for roast beef. Don't rush the caramelization of the onions for rich flavor. You can use pre-sliced roast beef to save time.
