Main Ingredients

  • 12 pieces Slider buns Soft and buttery for the best texture.
  • 1 pound Roast beef Tender, thinly sliced.
  • 2 cups Caramelized onions Cook until golden brown for sweetness.
  • 8 slices Cheese (optional) Choose your favorite cheese for added flavor.
  • 2 cups Au jus or beef broth For dipping.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste.
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste.
  • 4 tablespoons Butter For toasting the buns.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a skillet, caramelize the onions over medium heat for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown and fragrant.
  • Slice the slider buns in half and lightly butter the insides.

Assembly

  • Layer roast beef and the caramelized onions on the bottom half of each bun.
  • Add cheese if desired.
  • Place the tops of the buns on and brush them with butter.

Baking

  • Place the sliders on a baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes until heated through, and the buns are golden and slightly crisp.

Serving

  • Serve with au jus or beef broth for dipping.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Can freeze unbaked sliders for up to a month.
