  • 2 oz ginger ale Opt for a natural brand for authenticity.
  • 4 oz ginger beer Choose a spicy ginger beer for depth of flavor.
  • 1 oz blackberry purée Homemade is best, but store-bought is a time saver.

Garnishes

  • to taste frosted blackberries Freeze fresh blackberries and dust with sugar.
  • 1 sprig pine Adds festive aroma.

Preparation

  • In a tall glass, pour in 2 oz of ginger ale followed by 4 oz of ginger beer. Stir gently.
  • Add 1 oz of blackberry purée into the mixture and give a light stir.
  • Toss in some ice cubes for a refreshing chill.
  • Garnish with frosted blackberries and a sprig of pine.

Notes

For an ultra-refreshing experience, chill glasses in the freezer before serving. Leftover blackberry purée can be used in yogurt or pancakes.
