Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped

Cheese

  • 1 cup grated cheese (parmesan or mozzarella) Feel free to experiment with other cheese types.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder.
  • In another bowl, combine melted butter, milk, garlic, and rosemary.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Fold in the cheese.
  • Transfer dough to the loaf pan, filling it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before pulling apart and serving.

Notes

Serve this bread warm, paired with soups, salads, or as a standalone snack. It can also be enjoyed with marinara sauce or herbed olive oil for dipping.
To store leftovers, wrap tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and keep at room temperature for up to two days. For longer storage, freeze wrapped well in a freezer bag.
