Ingredients

Filling Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or mozzarella/colby mix

Dough Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (16 oz, 8 large biscuits)

Topping Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
  • Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until browned and no longer pink, breaking it apart with a spoon. Drain any excess grease. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted and combined. Let cool slightly.

Assembly

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Flatten each biscuit into a circle about 4 to 5 inches wide.
  • Place 2 tablespoons of the beef mixture in the center. Fold the dough around the filling and pinch the edges to seal. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.

Baking

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Parmesan, garlic powder, and parsley. Brush the mixture generously over each bomb.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Brush with extra garlic butter after baking if desired.

Notes

Serve warm with marinara, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for about 3 to 4 days.
