  • 1 large ham (bone-in or boneless)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Place the ham in a roasting pan, cut side down.
  • In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, ground cloves, and ground cinnamon. Whisk until smooth.
  • Brush the glaze generously over the ham.

Baking

  • Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil for the last 30 minutes to allow the glaze to caramelize.
  • Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing.

Notes

Serve the glazed ham hot or warm, garnished with fresh herbs or citrus slices. Pair with roasted vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, or a refreshing salad.
