  • 1 lb ground beef Use lean ground beef for less grease.
  • 1 packet taco seasoning Or use homemade taco seasoning.
  • 1 cup cooked white rice
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup nacho cheese sauce Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1/4 cup chipotle sauce Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For best melting, use block cheese and shred yourself.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella For best melting, use block cheese and shred yourself.
  • 4 large flour tortillas Use burrito-sized tortillas for best results.
  • Butter or oil for grilling Use for a crispy exterior.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  • Add the taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water, then simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Heat the tortillas on a dry skillet or in the microwave to make them more flexible.

Assembly

  • Lay a tortilla flat and place cooked rice, seasoned beef, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and sour cream on top.
  • Finish by adding shredded cheddar and mozzarella.

Grilling

  • Heat a clean skillet and sprinkle 2 tablespoons of shredded cheese in it.
  • Place the burrito seam-side down and cook until the cheese melts and forms a crispy crust.
  • Flip the burrito and repeat on the other side.

Notes

Serve warm, sliced in half. Add toppings like sour cream, guacamole, or salsa for extra flavor. For storage, wrap tightly and refrigerate, lasting up to 3 days, or freeze for up to a month.
