  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced Fresh or jarred
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced Fresh or powdered as a substitute

Cooking Steps

  • Begin by heating the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Allow it to warm for about 1 minute until it shimmers.
  • Add the minced garlic and ginger to the skillet, and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant and golden.
  • Add the ground turkey to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, breaking it up with a wooden spoon until browned and no longer pink.
  • Toss in the mixed vegetables and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until they’re tender but still crisp. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.
  • Pour in the teriyaki sauce, stirring well to coat the turkey and veggies evenly. Let it cook for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well to incorporate the seasonings.
  • Serve the stir-fry hot over cooked rice or noodles. Enjoy!

Notes

For added texture, garnish with sliced green onions or sesame seeds. Can be paired with cucumber salad or light soup.
