  • 2 pieces Apples Choose crisp and tart varieties like Granny Smith or sweet Fuji.
  • 1/2 cup Peanut Butter Can substitute with almond or sunflower butter if allergies are a concern.
  • 1 cup Mini Marshmallows These will mimic teeth in the monster mouths.
  • 1/4 cup Slivered Almonds Use for crafting fangs.

Optional Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Fruit Dip For dipping; can be store-bought or homemade.

Preparation

  • Cut the apples in half and remove the core to create a mouth shape.
  • Spread peanut butter generously inside each apple half.
  • Place mini marshmallows in a row along the top edge of the peanut butter to resemble teeth.
  • Add slivered almonds on each side of the mouth to create fangs.
  • Serve with a bowl of fruit dip if desired.

Notes

For the freshest taste, prepare apples just before serving. Use lemon juice to prevent browning after cutting. Can be customized with different fruits or nut butters.
