  • 1 cup cooked ham, chopped
  • 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 whole egg (for egg wash)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: mustard or other condiments

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares.
  • In a bowl, mix together the ham, Swiss cheese, spinach, salt, and pepper.
  • Place a spoonful of the mixture in the center of each pastry square.
  • Fold the pastry over to create a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
  • Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Serving

  • Serve warm, optionally with mustard on the side.

Notes

Seal the edges of the pastry well to prevent filling from leaking out. Customize with different meats, cheeses, or add herbs for enhanced flavor. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for about 10 minutes.
