Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pasta (any shape you prefer)
  • 1 cup Salty ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup Dill pickles, chopped
  • 8 oz Cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup Dressing (your choice, but ranch or vinaigrette work well)
  • to taste Seasonings (salt, pepper, and any herbs you prefer)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by cooking the pasta according to the package instructions, typically around 8-10 minutes until al dente. Drain it and let it cool completely.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, diced salty ham, chopped dill pickles, and softened cream cheese. Use a spatula to mix everything together gently.
  • After ensuring the cream cheese is evenly distributed, add your choice of dressing and sprinkle your desired seasonings. Continue to mix well.
  • Gently toss the ingredients until everything is evenly coated with the dressing.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving. This allows the flavors to meld beautifully.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

This pasta salad is best enjoyed chilled, making it a great make-ahead dish. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days. You can freeze the salad, but the texture may change upon thawing.
