  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup sweetener (like erythritol or stevia)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, sweetener, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Stir in applesauce, vanilla extract, and melted coconut oil until a dough forms.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Cooking

  • Roll the dough into small balls and place them in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Remove churro bites and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve churro bites warm and sprinkle with extra cinnamon and sweetener. Pair with melted dark chocolate or yogurt. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the fridge for a week.
