Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine Greek yogurt and self-rising flour until you form a dough.
  • Gradually add in the egg, honey, and salt.
  • Knead the dough gently on a floured surface.

Shaping and Baking

  • Divide the dough into equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel by forming a ring.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and place the bagels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let them cool before serving.

Notes

For serving, enjoy plain or add toppings like cream cheese, hummus, or avocado. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Brush the bagels with an egg wash before baking for a shiny finish.
