  • 2-3 fresh jalapeños, diced Adjust based on spice preference.
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Chopped green onions for garnish
  • Tortilla chips or crackers for serving

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced jalapeños, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and spread evenly.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions.

Serving

  • Serve warm with tortilla chips or crackers.

Notes

For a lower-calorie version, use Greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. This dish can be frozen; just ensure it is stored in a freezer-safe container.
