  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices Opt for turkey pepperoni for a protein boost and fewer calories.
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated This adds a delightful nutty flavor!
  • 1 large egg, beaten The egg wash gives the rolls a golden, glossy finish that you’ll adore!

Dipping Sauce

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • On a floured surface, roll your pizza dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.
  • Slice the dough into rectangles about 3 x 4 inches.
  • Place a generous amount of mozzarella cheese and a few pepperoni slices on one half of each rectangle.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan, followed by a dash of Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  • Fold the dough over to enclose the filling and seal the edges by pinching them together.
  • With a pastry brush, give the tops a lovely coat of beaten egg.
  • Lay your rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Baking

  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with marinara sauce.

Notes

Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes for easy handling. Avoid overfilling the rolls to prevent bursting during baking.
