Ingredients
  

For the Filling

  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

For the Chocolate Coating

  • 1.5 cups milk chocolate chips Use high-quality chocolate for a richer flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon butter Make sure the butter is fully melted.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together the peanut butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
  • Melt the chocolate chips and butter in a microwave or double boiler until fully melted.
  • Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners.

Assembly

  • Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into the bottom of each liner and spread it up the sides.
  • Add a spoonful of the peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate, then top with more melted chocolate to cover.

Setting

  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes until set.
  • Remove from liners and enjoy your homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cups!

Notes

Store your Homemade Reese's Peanut Butter Cups in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. They can also be frozen for up to three months. You can add crushed nuts or salt to the peanut butter mixture or use dark chocolate for variety.
