Ingredients

Main ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter (salted preferred) Melted in skillet
  • 2 tablespoons honey For sweetness
  • 16 oz frozen corn Can substitute with fresh corn, adjust cooking time
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, cut into chunks For creaminess

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until it begins to bubble lightly, usually around 1-2 minutes.
  • Stir in the honey until fully combined with the melted butter, about 1 minute, until smooth and fragrant.
  • Pour in the frozen corn, stirring constantly to coat each kernel with the honey-butter mixture for about 5 minutes until heated through.
  • Reduce the heat to low and gently fold in the cream cheese chunks, stirring slowly until melted and creamy, about 3 minutes.
  • Let the mixture simmer for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until everything is heated through and well integrated, ensuring the corn remains tender.

Notes

Serve hot for the best flavor, garnish with fresh parsley or chives. Pair with grilled chicken or steak for a complete meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months.
