  • 4 pieces pork chops Bone-in or boneless
  • 1/4 cup honey Adjust sweetness to taste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce Low-sodium soy sauce is an option
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Fresh minced garlic preferred
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar For acidity
  • Salt and pepper to taste Season as preferred
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Season both sides of the pork chops with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chops in the skillet and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the glaze to thicken slightly.
  • Remove from heat and serve warm.

Notes

Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes after cooking to keep them moist. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 145°F. Can substitute chicken breasts or thighs for a similar taste.
