For the pork chops

  • 4 pieces pork chops Bone-in or boneless, your choice

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper to create the marinade. Ensure the honey dissolves completely into the mixture.
  • Place the pork chops in the marinade, ensuring they’re well coated. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  • Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Remove the pork chops from the marinade and pat them dry with a paper towel.
  • Cook the pork chops in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and golden brown, aiming for an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Add the reserved marinade to the skillet and let it simmer for another 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.
  • Serve the pork chops garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For maximum flavor, consider marinating the pork chops overnight. Serve hot with sides like steamed rice or green beans.
