  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, chopped (for garnish) Adds garnish and improves presentation.

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side or until they turn pink.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring to coat the shrimp evenly.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
  • Serve immediately, and enjoy your honey garlic shrimp!

Notes

If you have leftovers, store the shrimp in an airtight container in the refrigerator, best enjoyed within 1-2 days. To reheat, warm up on the stove or in the microwave until heated through. For variations, you can use chicken or tofu instead of shrimp.
