  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking

For the Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes until well combined.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer, cooking for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Reduce the heat slightly, then pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp, stirring gently to coat them evenly. Continue cooking for another 1-2 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
