Meatball Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey Use lean ground turkey for a healthier option.
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs Use gluten-free breadcrumbs if needed.
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Optional
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use gluten-free soy sauce if needed.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese (if using), egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • In a small bowl, mix honey and soy sauce together. Brush the mixture over the meatballs.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and golden brown.
  • Drizzle with remaining honey garlic sauce and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

These meatballs can be served on their own, or with rice, quinoa, or pasta. To store, keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
