Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for even baking.
  • On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into thin squares (about 3x3 inches).
  • Place a slice of pepperoni and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese in the center of each square.
  • Fold the dough over to create a sealed pocket and crimp the edges with a fork.
  • Brush the tops with the beaten egg, drizzle olive oil, and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
  • Bake on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let cool for a minute before serving with marinara sauce.

Notes

Allow pizza dough to sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before rolling. Avoid overfilling to prevent leakage during baking. Freeze leftover rolls for up to 3 months.
