Salad Ingredients

  • 2 large Cucumbers Sliced into thin, round pieces.
  • 1 cup Fresh mozzarella cheese Cut into bite-sized pieces.
  • 1 pint Cherry tomatoes Halved.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh basil leaves Torn by hand.

Dressing

  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
  • to taste Salt Avoid too much salt initially as it draws moisture.
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by slicing the cucumbers into thin, round pieces. Arrange them on a serving platter.
  • Halve the cherry tomatoes and scatter them over the cucumbers.
  • Cut the fresh mozzarella into bite-sized pieces and place them beside the cucumbers and tomatoes.
  • Gently tear fresh basil leaves by hand and sprinkle them over the salad.
  • Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the top.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Pair with grilled meats or crusty bread.
