Asparagus Bundles

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus Choose thin stalks for easier wrapping.
  • 8-10 slices bacon Wrap tightly around the asparagus.
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • optional olive oil Drizzle if desired.
  • optional garlic powder Seasoning option.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Trim the tough ends off the asparagus.
  • Take a bundle of 3-5 asparagus spears and wrap them tightly with a slice of bacon.
  • Place the bundles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, if using.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, if desired.

Cooking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes.
